Etobicoke & Greater Toronto Area
We build, replace, and repair retaining walls across Etobicoke, Toronto, and Mississauga. Whether you need a new wall to hold a slope, a full rebuild, or repairs on an existing wall, we assess the site and do the work properly — including drainage.
Retaining walls hold back soil on sloped properties, create usable flat areas in a yard, and help prevent erosion along garden beds and driveways. They're also used along property lines and near foundations where grade changes could otherwise cause water or soil movement issues.
A retaining wall that's leaning, cracking, or pulling away from the soil behind it is usually a drainage problem as much as a structural one. Water building up behind the wall creates pressure that, over time, pushes it forward. Addressing the drainage is part of doing the job right.
We build walls using concrete block, natural stone, and interlocking retaining wall systems. The right material depends on the height, location, and what you're trying to achieve. We'll walk you through the options when we assess the site.
From brand-new installs to repairs on existing walls, we handle the full scope of retaining wall work for residential properties.
We build new retaining walls to hold slopes, create level planting areas, or define a raised section of your yard. The job includes excavating the base, setting the footing course, building the wall, installing drainage behind it, and backfilling properly.
When a wall has shifted, buckled, or deteriorated past the point of repair, a full rebuild is usually the better option. We tear out the old wall, address any underlying drainage issues, and build a new one from the base up.
Walls with localized cracking, separated blocks, or minor movement can often be repaired without a full teardown. We assess what's causing the problem, fix the affected section, and improve drainage where needed to help reduce the chance of it happening again.
Low retaining walls are a common way to create raised garden beds, define planting areas, or add structure to a front or backyard. We build these using natural stone, concrete block, or interlocking systems depending on the look you want and the height required.
Water pressure behind a wall is one of the main reasons walls fail over time. On every job we look at how water is moving across the site and include proper drainage materials — gravel backfill, weeping tile, or drainage outlets — where the situation calls for it.
Send us a photo of the wall or slope. We'll take a look and let you know whether it needs a repair, a rebuild, or a new wall — no fee, no obligation.
A clear, straightforward process from first call to finished wall.
We visit the site, look at the wall or slope in person, assess drainage conditions, and give you a written quote. This is the only way to give you an accurate price — we don't quote blind.
We excavate the base and any area behind the wall. Drainage materials — gravel, weeping tile, or filter fabric — are prepared and positioned before the wall goes up.
The base course is set level and on a stable footing. Each course is built up with proper setback and alignment. Drainage outlets are built in where needed.
The area behind the wall is backfilled in layers and compacted so the soil settles evenly. The site is cleared of debris and left tidy before we go.
We visit your property before quoting. Retaining wall jobs vary too much by site to price accurately over the phone — we come to you.
You receive a clear written quote outlining the agreed scope, materials and price before work begins. If unforeseen site conditions or requested changes affect the scope, we discuss them with you and receive approval before completing any additional work.
We carry general liability insurance. Proof is available before any work begins on your property.
We don't just stack blocks and leave. We look at what's happening with water on the site and address it as part of the job.
Call or text us and we'll respond as soon as possible with availability and the next steps for arranging an on-site quote.
